VolleyKids & VolleyTweens Academy

The VolleyKids & VolleyTweens Academy is designed to help our youngest generations learn more about the sport of volleyball and become acquainted with every skill needed to continue to advance and develop within the sport.

Due to the nature of the VolleyKids & VolleyTween Academy focusing on a general introduction to the sport of volleyball, these Academies are open to newer volleyball athletes from the ages of 7-12 years of age or older. 

The Prevail VBC VolleyKids & VolleyTween Academies will be coached by Clark Sheaffer and Brie Kissell-Snyder. 

The VolleyKids & VolleyTweens Academy focuses on skills that are vital to being a successful and well-rounded volleyball athlete: 

  • Passing
  • Setting
  • Hitting
  • Serving
  • Volleyball Terminology
  • General Game Play
  • And FUN!

VolleyKids Details

  • Ages: Open to young athletes ages 7-9
  • Dates: Wednesdays: Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 (5-week session)
  • Time: 5:30PM – 7PM
  • Cost: $125 (5 Sessions) and open to a maximum of sixteen (16) athletes per session
  • Fall Dates: October 23 – November 20
  • Spring Dates: TBD

VolleyTweens Details

  • Ages: Open to young athletes ages 10-12
  • Dates: Wednesdays: Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 (5-week session)
  • Time: 5:30PM – 7PM
  • Cost: $125 (5 Sessions) and open to a maximum of sixteen (16) athletes per session
  • Fall Dates: September 18 – October 16
  • Spring Dates: TBD

PREVAIL VBC Adults

Prevail VBC Adult Programs are dedicated to enhancing the opportunities available for adult volleyball players in the sport. Our Program offers 3 different categories, each designed to offer various levels of play as well as opportunities to improve skills, meet new individuals, or play within adult volleyball teams.

Each offering within the Prevail VBC Adult Programs operates on its own schedule. Please check the availability of each program before registering.

MEMBERSHIP 

Become a Member of PREVAIL VBC!

Prevail VBC is thrilled to welcome new members to our volleyball community. As a member, you’ll gain access to various events and activities designed for adults looking to enjoy the sport in a supportive and engaging environment.

Our Adult Memberships and events are only open to individuals ages 18 and over. Juniors are ineligible to join.

Members are not permitted to invite guests to any member event.

To join any of our Adult Programs, you must complete these two steps:

  1. Obtain an AAU Adult Membership for the 2024-25 season by clicking here. Our Club Code is W3DFC7. Your membership card will be provided to you upon completion.
  2. Complete the PREVAIL Membership Registration Form. Click here to complete the form and upload a copy of your AAU membership card.

Members Only Friday Night Pickup

Adult Open Gyms return to Prevail VBC for interested individuals who are looking to come and play in a relaxed structure and environment. This Adult Opportunity is for Members Only. 

All interested participants must obtain an AAU Membership for the 2024-25 season as an Adult Athlete. A membership card will be provided to you on your first attended open gym.

Open Gym Details:

  • AAU Membership Required
  • Only for Adults aged 18+ and older. 
  • Each open gym will cost $10 per member; Cash only.
  • Friday Nights 8PM to 1030PM starting October 4th, 2024.

Members Only Adult Tournaments

Prevail VBC offers adult volleyball tournaments on select Saturdays during the fall. This event is Members Only and AAU Memberships will be required for participation. Pending memberships will not be accepted.

Tournament Details:

  • Only open to Adults aged 18+ and older. 
  • AAU Membership Required**
  • Available Tournament Dates:
    • September 28th, 2024 – Daytime Adult Revco Quads
    • October 5th, 2024 – Daytime Adult Revco Quads
  • Each Tournament costs $10 per person with AAU Membership; Cash Only.

**AAU MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. Pending Memberships will not be accepted day of the tournament. 

Adult Local and National Teams

Prevail VBC offers adult volleyball athletes opportunities to participate as a team or as a team in local leagues, tournaments, and/or the 2025 USAV Opens Nationals event in Colorado, CO. 

Adult teams can be formed for any division – A, AA, B, BB, over 40, over 50, etc.

*NEW for 2024-25* Predetermined teams will be accepted. If you do not have a team, register as a free agent and we will do our best to place you on a team. 

All participants will be required to purchase a USAV Full Season membership AND an AAU Adult Athlete membership. To obtain:
